January 24 marks International Day of Education. In 2025, OLVEA Foundation supported a variety of educational projects in France and abroad, focused on knowledge transmission, guidance, equal opportunities and access to education.

In partnership with schools, associations and local stakeholders, these initiatives benefited diverse audiences and translated into concrete actions on the ground. Here is an overview of the projects supported in 2025:
Exploring new ways of learning: educational podcasts in Fécamp
By funding audio equipment, several classes at Albert Camus School (Fécamp) were able to create educational podcasts. This initiative helped students develop oral expression, writing and collaboration skills while exploring new learning methods.
Supporting high school graduates from Fécamp: a concrete support for higher education
In 2025, OLVEA Foundation supported 5 new scholarships as part of its high school graduate sponsorship program. Students received financial aid and personalized mentoring to facilitate their entry into higher education and strengthen their chances of success.
Introducing students to the professional world: an inter-company internship
A two-week inter-company internship allowed 19 high school students to discover more than ten professions. This immersion provided them with a better understanding of the professional world and valuable support for their future orientation.
Supporting literacy in Burkina Faso: opening new centers
Three new literacy centers were opened in Burkina Faso, enrolling 100 new learners. This program contributes to strengthening adults’ autonomy and supporting their active participation in community life.
Encouraging children’s access to education in Morocco: school bag distribution
1,171 school bags were distributed to students in the provinces of Taroudant, Essaouira and Sidi Ifni. This action supports schooling in rural areas and helps reduce inequalities in access to education.
Improving school infrastructure in Mauritania
In Nouadhibou, 2 new classrooms were inaugurated, with two more under construction. These facilities help accommodate an increasing number of students in better conditions and strengthen the quality of education.
These concrete, on-the-ground projects illustrate OLVEA Foundation’s commitment to supporting educational pathways and local development.
