In partnership with the Municipality of Nouadhibou, our association MauritaVie, has successfully completed the rebuilding of two classrooms at Wajaha School, providing students with a more sustainable and suitable learning environment.
This initiative is a strong example of solidarity, local development, and civic responsibility. It builds on a similar project completed in 2024 at another local school, and is grounded in three key pillars:
• Mobilization of funds by MauritaVie,
• Construction oversight by the Municipality,
• Joint supervision ensuring proper execution at every step.

This project reflects the strength of a trusted and long-term partnership.
The inauguration ceremony took place in March, with the presence of Deputy Mayor Manan Chekare on behalf of Mayor El Ghassem Ould Bellali, a parent representative and several other parents, the school principal, the President of MauritaVie and Managing Director of OLVEA Mauritania, Sid’Ahmed Sidha, the Administrative and Financial Manager of OLVEA Mauritania, Mohammed Touré and OLVEA’s CSR team, Apolline Boulaire and Christophe Godard.
Education is the foundation of all lasting transformation.
A heartfelt thank you to everyone who contributed to making this project possible!
