The second phase of restoration work on the stained-glass windows of Saint-Étienne Church in Fécamp began last week. Initiated by OLVEA Foundation, this heritage project is carried out in partnership with the City of Fécamp and several public and private partners.
Preserving Heritage
The sained-glass windows, created in the 19th century by Jules Boulanger, are true witnesses of artistic craftsmanship and local history. Their restoration helps preserve and enhance this unique heritage, which contributes to the city’s identity and appeal.

Restoration Process
The work includes:
Careful dismantling of the windows,
Cleaning and restoring the glass and lead,
Reinstallation after treatment,
Repair of the surrounding stone frames.
These interventions, scheduled to continue until next spring, will restore the full beauty of these luminous 19th-century works.

OLVEA Foundation’s Commitment
By driving this project, OLVEA Foundation continues its mission: supporting sustainable local initiatives that are meaningful and bring lasting value to the community.
Preserving heritage also means preserving the identity and history of the city.
Acknowledgements
OLVEA Foundation thanks the City of Fécamp and all the partners involved for their collective effort in this important project.
