"Petite Personne": when children's voices take centre stage across the Fécamp area

For eleven days in July, a magical train travelled across the Fécamp region. On board: thirteen children, a troupe of actresses, a musician… and one shared belief, that the voices of the youngest deserve to be heard. With the tour of the show "Petite Personne", created by the Le Havre-based company Madame Phénomène together with the association Les Magiciens de la Nuit, OLVEA Foundation supported a wonderful artistic and human adventure, deeply rooted in local life.
A show imagined by children, for all audiences
"Petite Personne" is no ordinary show. Here, children are not simply spectators: they are writers, actors, set handlers and creators of their own characters. During a workshop held in the spring in Valmont, then a residency in Thiétreville, they built this story step by step — a journey aboard an imaginary train, in search of a world where their voices would finally matter.
The result: a family-friendly play, funny and moving, that asks big questions from a child's point of view. What does it mean to stand up for your ideas? Is there really a place for children, here and now? And above all, what would tomorrow look like if we took the time to listen to these "little people"?
Eight towns, one shared desire for culture
From 9 to 19 July 2026, the troupe set up in eight towns across the Fécamp area: Theuville-aux-Maillots, Angerville-la-Martel, Bosville, Thérouldeville, Thiétreville, Sassetot-le-Mauconduit, Limpiville and Saint-Pierre-en-Port. Community halls, free performances, audiences of all ages gathered around a shared moment: this touring show brought culture closer to residents, in villages where artistic offerings often remain scarce.

By supporting "Petite Personne", OLVEA Foundation reaffirms its commitment to the cultural life and youth of its region. A commitment shared with a strong network of partners: the Normandy Region (LEADER programme), the Seine-Maritime Department, SPEDIDAM, the association Les Magiciens de la Nuit, the children's parents and the host towns.
Because supporting a project like this is about far more than funding a show: it means giving children the confidence to create, to express themselves and to meet their audience. And it simply means growing, together.
