OLVEA’s Philanthropic Fund financed a new literacy campaign in Burkina Faso, in the Dissihn region, from March to July 2020.
This operation, marking the end of a 3-years teaching cycle, enabled 88 people (among which 51 women) to strengthen their knowledge, through specific technical training and the implementation of micro-projects (pig and poultry breeding, marketing of shea, soumbala, etc.), thus helping them to develop their financial autonomy.
Since 2013, thanks to OLVEA’s Philanthropic Fund, more than 800 people have been able to benefit from these campaigns and thus, learned to read, write and count.
