Acquisition of the construction model of the trawler Simon Duhamel, 1919

Fondation d'Entreprise Fécamp Patrimoine contributed to the purchase by the Fécamp Musée des Terre-Neuvas ("Museum of Newfoundland-bound Fishermen") of the construction model of the Fécamp trawler Simon Duhamel, which was built in 1920 by Hall Russell shipbuilders in Aberdeen.

This model, a beautiful treasure of Fécamps' historical heritage, was put on sale by a Scottish collector.

It arrived in the town on 28 May 2009 and was put on public display at the time of the Estivoiles celebrations on 20 June 2009.
